The Suresign agent gets better at helping you when it knows how you work. You teach it two things in Settings > Agent: a house style brief that applies to every conversation, and memory facts about people and your workspace. The more it knows, the less you have to repeat yourself.
Only admins can change house style and memory settings. Everyone in the workspace can view what the agent remembers.

House style brief

A house style brief is a short note you write once. The agent reads it at the start of every chat. This is where you put your preferences so drafts sound like your business.

What to put in your brief

  • Your company name and how you refer to yourself
  • Standard terms you use, such as payment terms or governing law
  • Tone preferences, such as formal or friendly
  • Clauses you almost always include, such as confidentiality or dispute resolution
  • Sign-off language or signature block format

Example brief

1

Open Settings > Agent

Click your workspace name, then choose Settings. Select Agent from the workspace settings list.
2

Scroll to House style

Find the House style panel.
3

Write your brief

Type your brief in the text area, up to 1,000 characters. Write it the way you would brief a new colleague.
4

Save

Press Save. The agent reads your new brief the next time a chat starts. Earlier chats are not affected.

Memory facts

The agent remembers facts about your workspace and about individual people. These are short pieces of information that help it draft and answer questions faster. Facts are matched to your words in plain code, so recalling them costs no credits and adds no wait.

What the agent remembers

At most 8 facts reach any one turn, so a full memory never costs more than a nearly empty one.

Examples of workspace facts

  • “We always use two-year terms for NDAs”
  • “Our standard notice period is 30 days”
  • “We require two signatures on contracts over $10,000”

Examples of person facts

  • “Jordan Lee is a software engineer in Bangalore”
  • “Alex Chen prefers contracts in English and Chinese”
  • “Priya Shah is the CFO and signs all vendor agreements”
1

Open Settings > Agent > Memory

In Settings > Agent, scroll to the Memory panel.
2

Switch memory on

Toggle memory to On. When it is off, the agent does not use existing facts or learn anything new.
3

Choose who can add workspace facts

Under New facts for the whole workspace, pick one of these options:
  • Save, and list them here: Any member can add workspace facts straight away.
  • Wait for an admin: New workspace facts need an admin to approve them first. Personal facts always save straight away.
4

Browse and search facts

Switch between the Workspace and Personal tabs to see what the agent knows. Use the search box to find a specific fact.

What the agent never keeps

The agent refuses to store certain information to keep your workspace safe:
  • Access codes, passwords, or PINs
  • Account numbers, card numbers, ID numbers, or phone numbers
  • API keys or tokens
  • Document text, signatures, or what people filled in

Editing or removing a fact

You can correct what the agent remembers at any time.
1

Find the fact

In Settings > Agent > Memory, search or browse to the fact you want to change.
2

Choose an action

  • Press the pencil icon to edit the fact. Correct the text and save.
  • Press the trash icon to forget the fact. It is removed immediately.
To remove many facts at once, press Forget everything (workspace facts, admins only) or Forget all of yours (your personal facts). Every change is recorded in the workspace history, but the fact itself is never kept there.
A forgotten fact cannot be brought back. If the agent learned it from a chat, you would need to tell it again.
